Does the FoodBank send a receipt for our donation?
Yes.  You will promptly receive a receipt specifying the number of items or total weight received. Our entire inventory is computerized and traceable, for your safety and convenience.

What is my liability?

How does this help my marketing strategy?
Our goal is to be your partner in the management unsaleables. Donating food is not only a community service it is also an important tactic of your inventory management plan, as follows:

  • Donated product is taken out of the regular distribution channels
  • Product is not subject to sale against your own label or product the next day
  • Donation lowers expense of waste management and distressed sales
  • Storage costs are lowered, we handle large quantities quickly and efficiently
  • Food you donate goes immediately to people in need

As part of building a partnership, we want to work with you...
